Over and over again it was Job crying about why God has judged and forsaken him, followed by his friends saying how God is punishing him for some hidden sin, followed by Job saying "screw you y'idiot, you don't know my pain!" and the cycle continued. It was only then when Elihu decided "they messed up, time for me to say something"<br /><br />As for anger, I can attest to his feelings as I am only the oldest child so I can't be a sole speaker when it comes to how my parents handle my siblings or finances. It simply isn't my place to say anything, but when it gets too much, I have to say something or risk losing everything (not exaggerating). Of course I'm angry too but I do my best to remain in my place as I speak out against themAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01612091839774937779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2957116478485743718.post-34551372319204851112015-05-23T12:37:11.373-04:002015-05-23T12:37:11.373-04:00I'm glad you wrote this...I was just studying ...I'm glad you wrote this...I was just studying this and pondering on the same question. Whether he was right or wrong, we don't really know. However, I'm going to hold on to what you pointed out: "Often God asks us to do things for His kingdom that probably won't result in any kind of recognition." Again, Thanks!!Debbie Kaynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2957116478485743718.post-25613625754835329252012-02-21T16:02:23.604-05:002012-02-21T16:02:23.604-05:00I know that I am posting years after this was writ...I know that I am posting years after this was written, but I just want to mention that it seemed like Elihu was in err himself. First, implying that God is beyond all of us and cares little. Second, his boastfulness in his own knowledge compared to everyone else's, and third, his angry accusations.JeremyBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17295440633155544665noreply@blogger.com
